Sergio Rossi started up his career working alongside his father, from which he learned the art of creating high quality shoes. But he could go further than the tradition, adding to the quality original shapes and materials. The secret of this success is probably due to the vision according to which shoes are not simply accessories, they are just the extension of the body.In 2006 Edmundo Castillo becomes the new Creative Director of the firm, introducing warmer colours and new materials. In 2008 Edmundo Castillo leaves his place to  Francesco Russo, designer of great talent and experience who had worked with Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent. Sergio Rossi shoes are featured not only by high quality but also by the creativity of their designer, and this is why they have a so important place in the luxury world of Made in Italy.
